- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over high heat. Add the rice and stir to coat the grains in the butter.
- Add the coconut milk, water, and salt. Bring to a boil. Stir and then cover, reduce the heat to low and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Remove the rice from the heat and let sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
